SPECIFICATION OF COACHWORK & MOUNTING.
CHASSIS:- Special Phantom. Special "D" Type Steering. Nickel Finish. Balloon Tyres. (See N.Sch.2248 for clearances.)
Coachbuilder:- Messrs Hooper & Co Ltd.
TYPE OF BODY.
Four door, six light, FIXED ROOF CABRIOLET, with folding extension over the front seat.

SEATING.
Six, Two on the mainseat, two on the front seat and two emergency seats facing forwards. Sliding glass division with gastight joint when closed.
FRAMING. PANELLING & MOUNTING.
Body to be framed in English Ash, built on a R-R Ltd. body subframe. The structure is to be scientifically ironed with sheet steel gussets, made by either bending welding or hand working. Lightness with rigidity and strength are essential.
DOORS.
Four doors to open at right angles or more. Front door to be hung on front pillar, rear door on rear pillar. Strong and rigid outside hinges preferably made of Staybright Steel, with robust pins. Handles of approved pattern. Locks with double striking plates. Dovetails or the like to have ample dimensions.
HEAD.
Head to be built fixed following Hooper methods. Folding extension over driving seat. All precautions to be taken to avoid body "Booming or Drumming".
WINDSCREEN.
Vertical, with spilt top glass. TRIPLEX GLASS, with permanent waterproof joint to glasses. Smith Mechanical Screen Wiper. Front pillars to be of light section above the waist line.
WINDOWS.
All windows to be made to fall, the rear quarter to fall as far as the wheel arch will allow. Mechanical window lifts. Front doors to have metal glass guides only after the waist line. The ones at the shut pillar to be made to fold.
SCUTTLE VENTILATORS.
Side ventilators only to be fitted. These should be flush fitting, without beading and of ample size.
WINGS; VALANCES. ETC.
Rear wing to be supplied by coachbuilder to dimensions given. mounted solely on the body and subframe.
Front wing to be made to suit a standard Phantom but to dimensions given on N.Sch.2245. This wing should be supplie
