Dear Mr Martindale, The parts mentioned in your letter of the 25th January, have been received, and as a result of the examination of them we find it will simplify matters for us considerably if you can supply a hub without spokes and rim, and two hub caps, one each right and left hand. Thank you for detailing the tests so clearly, and I can assure we will do our best to comply with your requirements. We will certainly test the "Brimol" drum with austenitic iron liner, and it will be better if you will let us have this right away so that the rig we make can complete the series without interruption. I am enclosing the photomicrograph of the millenite iron which we consider so eminently satisfactory. This is X.100 and picric-acid etched. Finally, referring to the rivets, I find these were despatched to you on the 24th of this month, and I do hope they have not got mislaid. It will keep the books clear if on receipt of this replacement 200 you will be so good as to return the 200 made in error. With kind regards, Yours very truly, Mosley Chief Chemist, FERODO LIMITED. P.S. When we are in the middle of your test, I will give you a ring so that if you wish you may slip over to see what we are doing. | ||
