-2- efforts we have made in this case to make it entirely satisfactory, but also he immediately agreed that we have effected a very marked improvement in the running of the car, and he volunteered that Mrs. Corrigan would not raise any further objections. He expressed himself as being irritated on behalf of the owner that Paris, when the car was recently in their hands, did not succeed in dealing with the trouble in the way indicated above, but I pointed out to him that Paris was not given time apparently to discuss the matter at all with us, or given a thorough opportunity of sifting the trouble owing to Mrs. Corrigan's impatience.
