X4117. To Lp.{Mr Lappin} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.8.3.32. Re. Mr. Fairey's Car. Attached herewith copy of a letter we have received from Mr. Fairey. We replied telling him we should be glad to deal with his car, it would take us three or four days, and we asked him to let us know when we could have it. We are rather anxious to try this car on Brooklands Track - we shall be down there on Thursday with several other cars. If Mr. Fairey is not prepared to let us have his car to do the oiling, he might agree to us just getting one or two figures off it. You can tell him we will use our own tyres. We should be at the Track mid-day on Thursday. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Attachment. | ||
