Start up the 'Instarter' way!
The "INSTARTER"
What it is - and - How it Functions

The “Instarter” is a small flexible electric heater, thoroughly insulated, which clips round the Induction Pipe just above the Carburetter.
The wires are taken from the accumulators to the terminals on the “Instarter” via the switch.
The chief points which prove the usefulness and economy of the “Instarter” are these:—
It ensures starting in the coldest weather and consequently saves petrol and exertion and prolongs the life of the self-starter.
It absorbs any moisture in the Induction Pipe, reduces carbonization and permits the engine to run slowly and develop more power.
If it is left on for from two to three minutes, it consumes a negligible quantity of electricity, approximately under 2% of the capacity of a small size accumulator.
Finally, it can be fitted in a short time, to most makes of cars.

Before starting up you have only to switch on the “Instarter” for about two to three minutes. During this time it absorbs all moisture in the Induction Pipe, and vapour-izes the bead of petrol at the top of the jet. The engine will then start and continue running. Compare the small initial cost of the “Instarter” with what it will save you in time, trouble and petrol.
You will find the prices on the back of this folder.
