- 4 - BENTLEY 50. 2. Costs. No further information was forthcoming under this heading, but the matter will be kept on the Agenda. 4. Name - to be kept on the Agenda. 5. Overdrive It was decided that the overdrive similar to that on the Bentley was not to be incorporated in the B.50. CONTINENTAL BENTLEY- Paulin Type 1. Programme The question of a number of these cars being produced specially for the next Motor Show was mentioned, and it was thought that six sets of material could safely be put in hand in connection with this matter. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} stated that the dates mentioned in By1/G6139 had been worked backwards from the Show time in order to give a programme which would enable these cars to be prepared in time for the Show. A point for S. to decide is how many cars should be in the Exhibition and on whose stands, and how many (if any) should be available for demonstration. 2. Publicity Having decided that certain articles shall be written and certain performances attempted, arrangements have already been made with the Autocar to send a representative to meet Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} on 10th instant. The Paulin car is being prepared for Sr's run on an Autobahn. These are the first steps in the campaign - others will follow. | ||
