Royce - Buyer} 1/MG13.11.23 STEERING WHEELS For the early E.A.C.cars we are using Sand Castings from our own Foundry, machining same here, and then having them covered by hand with Ebonite by the I.R.G.P Company, Silvertown. (a) I would suggest we seriously consider the advisability of using Dover Wheels for E.A.C.Chassis after such initial batches, as the Dover Wheel complete, costs approximately the figure Silvertown will charge us for covering only such Wheels from moulds, quite apart from the Die Castings required and the machining on same here before they go to Silvertown. (b) Admittedly we had some trouble with earlier supplies of 20 HP. Dover Wheels, but these seem to be now overcome, and complaints from the Shops or clients eliminated. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} had two sample 40/50 HP. Dover Wheels for trial some 2/3 months back. ROY {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} | ||
