S.P.81 S. SMITH & SONS (Motor Accessories) LTD., CRICKLEWOOD WORKS, LONDON. N.W.2. CONTINUATION NO. 1. the S.U.Carburetter. This is really interesting; besides eliminating the human element it entirely simplifies the throttle control and obviates the necessity for the steering strangler which is at present fitted. I believe our Mr.Grose has already submitted you sample of this device and I am rather surprised that we have not heard anything further from you. In conclusion, I would like to thank you for your good offices in effecting the early delivery of my chassis. As mentioned during my visit, I cannot speak too highly of this wonderful piece of engineering which is indeed a revelation and a credit to the house of Rolls Royce. Looking forward to hearing from you regarding the chassis which I have pursuaded Mr.Gordon Smith to have, and thanking you for your courtesy during my visit. Yours faithfully, C. W.
