the radiator and give almost complete silence, and at the same time be enormously efficient for hill-climbing.

It will also be at least worthy of trial on the tank, though I fancy they cannot give much draught away even at high engine speeds.

I am bringing a sample back and will find out patent situation.

Have seen the latest drawings of the governor controlled fanspeed. This is being worked at hard to provide a drive that also will not over speed the dynamo (many here are now belt driven).

In its latest form -

The bottom pulley is spring loaded only and opens out to reduce drive ratio under the influence of the governor.
