2nd December, 1938.

C. Kimber, Esq.,
M.G. Car Company Ltd.,
ABINGDON-on-THAMES.

Dear Kimber,

I see that you are getting a lot of horse-power out of your latest M.G. engines. Is the bearing situation lining up with these outputs ?

Our own bearing alloy is now giving us entire satisfaction, and seems to have the same load-carrying capacity as the best lead bronze without the latter's inconsistency and susceptibility to corrosion.

Anyhow, if you are interested, perhaps you will pay your deferred visit to the Works, and we will tell you all about it. We are even selling it to our Aircraft Division which is no mean achievement.

By the way, congratulations on Major Gardiner's effort on the M.G.

Yours sincerely,
