To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1263 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}15/JH. 30.6.36. Phantom III Petrol Pumps. We have fitted the S.U. petrol pumps on the inside of the frame by the driver's door for cooling purposes. A petrol flow comparison has been made using the autoflux pump. As we realised, the flow taken at this point is inadequate for our needs, and we give the figures below. A supply of 230 pts. per hour is required at the carburetter union. TYPE | Pumps on frame with short flex. only. | Pumps to union of old pump position. | Pump to carburetter union. S.U. | 313 pts. per hr. | 195 pts. per hr. | 107 pts. per hr. Autoflux. | 270 pts. per hr. | 185 pts. per hr. | 113 pts. per hr. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.Dodd. | ||
