-2- Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner}1/JH.5.8.40. (B) (Diagram of a pipe) Experimental pipe which was a failure. (C) (Diagram of a pipe) The best they know, it was going on production but for the outbreak of war. After all this their trouble is poor carburation distribution, the bias from the S.U. carburetter is fitful and variable. Sometimes it is all down one branch of the pipe only to be reversed to the other branch the next day. They look forward with enthusiasm to the new S.U. carburetter. Mr. Boyle gave us a good welcome and told Swain his carburetter expert to show anything and everything we wanted to see. Boyle said he does not believe we are only interested in 8 cylinder carburation, he thinks we shall compete in their 4 cylinder market. I propose to revert to the 2 port system for Myth. I do feel that we have to find a carburetter which has a good starting carburetter so that we can shoot the car down the road with the handicap of a cold hot spot, which is imposed on us with thermo-syphon water system.
