Handwritten: Avenue Ruins 1091. visit to Coventry with H.S. Typed: To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.1/ET.28.3.41. If, during your meeting with Capt. Wilks, you can obtain the labour costs of the 10 H.P. "ROVER", as shewn on the appended sheet, it should be very helpful to us at a later date. We should like the costs shewn separately, i.e. flat labour, cost of living award, and overheads. If it is not possible to get separate costs for the different departments, the total labour costs will be helpful if we know the demarcation line between body and chassis. I am assuming that the 10 H.P. body is delivered by Pressed Steel assembled, in the white. That being so the cost of the body in the white and the tool costs would be very useful for comparison with the estimate that may be given us. I should also be interested to know if they have been successful in making the bonnets interchangeable, so that no fitting is required. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG. | ||
