X 3653 ------------------------------------------------------ The radiator blanking plates, sent over on cars from England, are, we think, not quite suitable to American driving conditions. During the last two months we have had sudden and repeated changes of temperature, of 20° or so, from day to day. Under these conditions the average driver will not find time to alter the blanking plates each day. On old cars at the service station, we have used for a considerable time a leather cover for the front of the radiator which is sprung into position behind the beading in the front of the radiator. Mr. Caswell is sending us a sample of this and, if it seems good, we are going to send it to you. Contd. R.R. 838A (100 T) S.H.
