Further to our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.11/MA.21.3.35., and E.1/HP.22.2.35., regarding the above we have now received a strengthened dipper bracket from Messrs.Lucas for inspection and the same has now been approved by E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and the Experimental Department as being an improvement over the existing bracket, which has been the subject of failure. We have accordingly asked Mr.Neill of Messrs.Lucas to arrange to incorporate the new bracket in all future lamps delivered to us. No extra charge will be involved with this changeover and we are also informed that no extra charge will be made for the new front glasses with plain centres recently standardised.
