Memorandum No. 5378.
Sydney T. Harrison Esq., May Place,
Newcastle Staffs.
Chassis No. 55-S-8.

The following is an extract from Inspection Report No. 5378. ref: St5/IN/T2923. Will you kindly take the necessary action, and also please send me copy of your letter to this owner :-

"He has a very high opinion of an oil made by "Messrs. Alexander Duckham & Company and known "as "Adcol". He has adopted it in all his "other cars and wished to do so too in the engine "of his R.R. Car; but he refrains from doing so "until he has received our approval. His "experience of this oil shows it to be very "superior to other oils which he has used in the "same cars. The oil never gets gummy and the "engines are easy to pull round in the cold weather. "The cylinders do not become carboned and the oil "in the crank case remains clean; also his engines "have produced greater power with its use than they "had done previously. At the owner's request I am "sending a sample of this oil, together with the "Makers' pamphlet concerning it, to W. and he will "be obliged if, after testing it, they will write "and advise him whether he can use it in his R.R. "car and if so, whether it should be used both "summer and winter."
