Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
DERBY.

Gentlemen,

For the attention of Mr. West.

It has been our custom to set the gaps of all "K" type plugs supplied to you for your 25 h.p. car at .025" to .028".

This appears to us to be rather excessively wide and we have had an instance recently where trouble was experienced with these plugs owing to the width of the gap. As soon as the gap was closed to more normal dimensions trouble was overcome.

In view of this, we shall be very grateful if you will give the matter your consideration and let us have exact instructions as to the width of gap which you consider desirable. In defining this we would ask you to allow us a limit of plus or minus .002".

Yours faithfully,
p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED.
