RE IO EX.

I have now practically completed the model of the body of the Sports Car 10 EX.

It would appear that there is very little clearance between the steering wheel and the side of the body. Now that we have dropped the wheel vertically the amount of four inches the maximum diameter of the wheel is almost exactly opposite the top of the body side. In the case of the original "D" Steering the centre of the wheel was well above the top of the body, and the clearance greater.

As this is a vital point we would be glad if you would test this on the car by holding a steering wheel in the proposed position. We would also suggest that you try a 17in. wheel as well. If this made it possible we could make a special wheel with three spokes and a thin rim of this diameter.

If you have returned the car to Barkers would you send us a wire when we will arrange to make the test there.

If this trouble cannot be overcome we fear that the low seat will become impossible, and the car spoiled.
