Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} West.

In connection with the HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}722.H. Lucas Alto Horn which you returned to us under your Replacement Order No. R.1910 dated 2nd September.

This Horn has been returned to us in consequence of same having developed a raucous note after being in use for about one month. We have had this Horn very carefully examined and have also put it through an endurance run for three hours. The result of the examination showed there was no undue wear in any part, and the result of the endurance was that the performance was good and during the endurance test no fault developed at all.

We would draw your attention to the fact that this Horn was undoubtedly one of a pair which were sent to you some time ago to demonstrate the excellent performance of our dual note Altos, this Horn being used in conjunction with an HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}722.

The letter 'H' after the type of the Horn, that is to say HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}722.H. denotes that this Horn is the high note Horn which should be used in conjunction with the standard Horn which is known as HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}722. Perhaps you will be good enough to investigate this matter and, if possible, ascertain when this Horn was sent to you, and if we are correct in our surmise that it is one of a pair which were sent for dual note work.

We are returning the Horn to you under
