X6032 c. to ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.13/KT. Sept. 1st, 1932. Messrs Joseph Lucas Ltd., Great King Street, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, Lucas HF{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}722 Horns. We have had one of these horns develop a nasty raucous note after being in use only about one month. We partially dismantled the horn in our electrical laboratory, but from a cursory examination could find nothing wrong with it, and we are returning the horn to you for your examination. We should be pleased if you will overhaul the same, and let us have a report on its condition with your remarks. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
