Hr/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} -2- present. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}is getting an estimate from Holmes as to what they will charge for repairs to wheels which he sends down. He expects this from Holmes during next week. OIL & FUEL GAUGES. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} complained that he was still 39 pairs short. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} replied that Durants were beginning to deliver at the rate of 50 pairs a week and Salters were going right ahead to complete the rest of the order, and were going to telephone to us the exact date next week when they would be finished. The Meeting decided that we keep 20 sets of 20.lb. gauges in stock for replacements and repairs etc. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} would like these for stock for putting on repair cars. OIL & FUEL GAUGE FLANGES. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} reported that he wanted these for 80 cars. Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} stated he thought he would get sufficient supplies during the next week to carry on with. He said the shortage at present is due to Salters having got material of the wrong gauge for it, and they had to scrap all this material and then order more. ----------- It was agreed to put down a discussion on the 1921 programme for next Friday. ----------- It was decided to discuss the American question on Monday next. ------------------------- | ||
