(1) RE. SCHEME FOR REPAIRS.

CJ's note was readto the Committee and it was decided Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} and Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} should get out a scheme as soon as possible and that this scheme should be laid before the Daily Conference. Whatever the Conference agree upon with regard to this will be laid in front of the Board.

(2) CYLINDER WATER JACKET COVERS.

CJ's note to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} was brought before the meeting. It was agreed that Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} should write CJ. telling him that between Wallworks and our own foundry, we thought we should be able to carry on.

(3) RADIATORS.

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} read out CJ's note with regard to radiators being dependent on outside supplies of parts. This was discussed at the meeting and Mr.Wormald agreed to write and explain the situation to CJ.

(4) SPRINGS.

With regard to the changeover from split leaves to solid leaves, it was agreed by the meeting that Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}, EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}, and Mr.Swift should go into this question at once, with a view to getting the changeover as soon as possible.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} was asked to give an approximate cost, by tomorrow, of the material.
