We have a complaint from Cricklewood that excessive wear takes place on the above mentioned parts on post-war cars, which they suggest is due to the fact that the platinum tipped blade is very much stronger than those which were used on pre-war cars, and they go on to ask what is the reason why these parts should be stronger than on pre-war cars.
