-2- to run with standard wheels, that is, wheels without the .5 extra off set. Now that we have increased the track we want if possible to avoid a further increase by sticking the wheels out. I am proposing to come to France on Monday the 28th. and should like to run 24-EX car with you for two or three days. I am bringing one of my boys with me. I was wondering whether you could arrange to send back a pair of your men and let them take their holidays. The works will be closed until the 5th. so that it is no use having the car back here before that date, and I thought that perhaps one pair of drivers could complete the test. Also, as these men would have no thing to do whilst you and I are away with the car, it would be less expense. Will you please let me have your views on this matter. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} With regard to your loss of water from the radiator, will you try putting a restriction of 23.125 holes in the outlet from the cylinder block and seeing whether this has any effect on your loss of water when running. We have done a test here which shews it does, but we are not convinced as we cannot get road conditions stabilised. | ||
