To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}3/HP.20.6.33. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} HV. re Bentley Bonnet. It is complained that in operating the front bonnet fasteners the knuckles of the hand are damaged on the louvres. To improve this we suggest shortening the first 7 louvres which will make the clearance with the hand a trifle better than the rear fastener. Since this will affect the appearance of the bonnet all the people concerned should be in agreement to this proposed modification. We send you herewith LeC.3539. We understand that you have already been instructed by Sales to alter the slope of the louvres from 8o to 16o. Drawing to BY.{R.W.
