For the attention of Mr.Fraser.

Dear Sirs,

We are sending under separate cover the shoes off our Bentley 6.B.IV. The shoes are arranged in pairs. Will you please return them as soon as possible.

Concerning the licence to make Girling brakes here, we were only making tentative enquiries, we do not expect to reach a decision for some time. Owing to our various experiences with Girling brakes we are not enthusiastic about them and we thought it advisable to know your attitude.

We would like to discuss with Mr.Pratt or Mr. Girling the vacuum servo you have been developing for use with your brakes. Perhaps it is more suited for them and would prevent the grab we get sometimes.

The writer would be glad to call at your works any day, or would see them here, if you would fix a time and date.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
