X1113 ROT. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} BY.4/G.19.8.36. CHASSIS PETROL TANK LEVEL INDICATOR (TANK UNIT). ------------------------------------------ We recently had a petrol gauge returned from Cricklewood, through Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}, which was rusted up, as the result of the car standing apparently with little petrol and some water in the tank for a long period. We returned the gauge in question to Messrs. Smiths with the object of them investigating it and giving us some information as to what they thought the trouble was. Apparently, they have/been able to give us any information /not from this point of view, but they have repaired the unit and returned it to us in a working condition. This is now 100%, and can go into stock for ordinary use. By BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
