To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gy. X-4183 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gyl/LG13.6.29. X4408 We have now examined the revised Enots fitting F.77765 which Messrs. Benton & Stone submitted as being suitable for use on our mechanic's Joints. We should say this job is quite satisfactory, as after running for 1/2 hr. on the rig, no sign of oil was visible. We have also satisfied ourselves that the screw which retains the spring is satisfactorily held from coming loose. Will you please instruct these for use on the 20 HP. and S.S. chassis immediately.
