WRAITH STEERING

When you fit yoke pieces Ex.S.82 to experimental Wraith chassis will you please also fit springs as mentioned in our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}10/AP.8.11.37. to the rear side steering tube joint. We have two sets of these springs which we will hand to you.

The modified castor angle can be applied to existing yokes by the use of oversize pivot pins as in 28.G.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine}, but we suggest that, for the next 10,000 mile test car, the two un-machined yoke forgings now in stock should be completed to the new angle so that standard pins can be fitted.
