You will doubtless be interested to know that Alfa Romeo's last year lost 1.75 million lire which on the rate of exchange of 60 lire to the £ figures out about £30,000.

You have doubtless also noticed that MG's have given up racing. The official reason is given that they have learnt enough from it but I expect the real reason is that Lord Nuffield came to the conclusion that it was costing very much too much!
