NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I - EXHAUST NOISE.

At the present moment all available experimental Phantom cars are monopolised on the steering tests.

If you could arrange to send a car from London we could fit to it the improved exhaust system. This would enable you to judge the degree of improvement which we have been able to obtain.

We are having certain difficulties - for instance, on the further silencers built up to the same design, we have been troubled with a whistling noise but we think this can be overcome.

What we should like at the moment is the Sales Dept. views on the improved silence of the exhaust.
