Bentley Radiators (Marston Mark V Type).

As the result of tests on the 58 m.m. Marston Mark V Bentley radiator matrix, we find that we can reduce the area of this matrix and still retain the same margin of safety as that available with present standard matrix.

We are therefore ordering a matrix from Marstons having its overall height reduced by 6" - this means that the radiator supports will have to be raised by this amount. We attach a rough sketch showing how this can be done.

Will you please have the necessary parts made for such a mounting, and also suitable brackets made to fit to the raised bottom tank to support the standard shutter assembly.

This will enable us to get a preliminary test with a view to a proper design being got out, the space available eventually being used to brace the frame.
