Coverley - Production Engineer} stated it would be satisfactory for production after the first 50 chassis, if the out- standing items were released by the end of March. Wraith Gearbox. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} stated LA.{L. A. Archer} had tried a box with a 'O' clearance bearing, and this was much better than the present standard, and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} agreed to order 'C' series bearings with 'O' clearance. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} stated he would prefer to get some mileage with the Schatz type bearing before releasing for production, but he could give a decision in time for 'D' series.
