Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1381 BY.1/N.27.2.39. MINUTES OF CONFERENCE HELD IN BY's OFFICE ON MONDAY THE 27th. FEBRUARY 1939. Present: BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 'Altered Helix Angle of Steering Cam for B.V. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} pointed out that no tools were available for producing the new cams, and it was agreed to order six cams from Adamant to carry on with until tools were available. Wraith Camshaft. It was agreed for RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} to complete the 300 camshafts for 'C' series to the existing design. Ball Bearings for Phan.III. Steering. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} pointed out that existing parts had already been delivered to cover 'D' series and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} agreed for the Ball Bearings to be used as soon as available, and scrap the rollers - A.T.D. 150 sets of Ball Bearings to be ordered to allow for replacements. Parts supplied to Exp. Dept. by Production for Investigation. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} pointed out that certain parts had been sent into the Exp. Dept. of which he had not been notified, and RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} promised to look into the items referred to, and in future send a memo to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} requesting the investigation to be carried out. | ||
