MYTH.

Rear Springs & Suspension.

We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy the original of PL.370 Rear Suspension.

The above scheme shows the rear spring, front anchorage bracket, rear shackle, shock damper link and the and the spring mounting on the axle tubes.

The rear spring has 44.000 cts.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}& Harris Bushes fitted in both the front and rear spring eyes, the top shackle bearing in the frame is a threaded pin lubricated.

Final particulars of the rear spring such as the rate, number of leaves and the thickness of the leaves, will be dealt with by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GB. as soon as possible. As regards the rear shackle, we should like the alternative scheme detailing and tried first.
