For the attention of Major Carrington.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 22nd. April - re point erosion on the FLB.30.X. type plugs. We note that you are preparing for our test some FLB.50.X type which will run cooler. We are anxious to test these out as soon as possible as we have lately received from our depot some of the FE.30.X. type with the same trouble. We are revising our plug test rig and in order to get as much out of this as possible, the under-signed would like to visit your Works and discuss plug testing apparatus and at the same time examine some bad cases of plug erosion which have recently been returned to us from our depot.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
