Coverley - Production Engineer}/JHW.1/ENG.12.7.37. PHANTOM III - PETROL PUMP IN THE FRAME. Taking into consideration the promises given by the S.U.Co. we are arranging to introduce the Petrol Pump in the Frame on production on the 117th chassis in 'G' Series, which chassis is due to be sent to the Test Dept. week-ending August 21st. We pointed out to HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} on Friday last that this job has not yet been standardised, but after consultation with Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} he is of the opinion it should be introduced at the point mentioned above. We mentioned to HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} the scrap involved would be approximately £7, to which he agreed. We are, therefore, arranging to introduce as mentioned above. Will the D.O. please instruct all the departments accordingly. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/JHW. | ||
