34-EX - NAIROBI CAR.

It is the intention of Sales to send this chassis to Hoopers so that they can build on to it their new experimental all-aluminium body.

We have dismantled parts of the chassis in which we were interested, and among other things have found that the front suspension pan is cracked.

Other major parts of the chassis are obviously not in a position to do further mileage without a re-build. If it is intended that this chassis should run as a complete car with the new body, we recommend that we send it in to the Repair Dept. and that they strip it entirely and then re-build, fitting new parts where necessary. This will almost amount to a new chassis; if, on the other hand, the chassis is merely going to be used as a sample frame for the Hooper body, we recommend sending it to the Coachbuilders right away without any repairs.
