PEREGRINE ROAD SPRINGS. ------------------------ We now have particulars of the bodies that are being obtained for Peregrine. We find that two lighter bodies of the sports type car are being produced. We should like, therefore, to alter the poundage of the rear stiffer type springs ordered in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MJ. 28.7.32., to :- 750 lbs. Will you therefore please order of high rating springs :- Front Springs. Free Camber. Loaded Camber. Poundage. 4 Off 2.750" Flat 600 Rear Springs. 4 Off 2.875 1.375 750 Neg. We are then left with three other cars to be equipped with 600 lb front and 800 lb rear springs of the present specification of 3.25" deflection and 5.875" deflection. We should like two spare sets of these types of springs for the bump. This makes five sets of low rating spring in all. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
