Dear Salamanca,

I am glad to hear that you are coming over for Le Mans.

The prospects of accommodation are not particularly bright as a great many people are going to be up for the race and they have all asked for accommodation to be reserved. Needless to say, the facilities at Le Mans are not particularly good, and the capacity at the time is going to be strained. However, by means of tents and sleeping on the floor I expect we shall all manage to get some sleep. At any event we are having a tent which will provide cover for one or two.

I do not expect to be over there until Friday the 12th June.

I suggested to Sr. that he should pick you up at Biarritz, but this does not seem to be possible.

Kind regards.

Yours sincerely,
