| x62 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/KW. 4th June, 1936. A.{Mr Adams} Limb, Esq., Messrs. C.C. Wakefield & Co.Ltd., Wakefield House, Cheapside, LONDON, E.C.2. Dear Limb, As you know, the Bentley is running at Le Mans. You will be pleased to hear that we have persuaded Hall that it would be very foolish to run on anything but Castrol, and he will therefore be using Wakefield's oil in the race. Hives and I and several other members of the Company will be over, and we are wondering whether it will be necessary to get our French people to make arrangements for food during the race, or whether Wakefield's will be able to take care of this matter. They did this very nicely last year, but there will probably be several more of us this year and we do not want to presume upon their hospitality. Perhaps you will let me know. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
