you could take the clip off the spring.

As regards the jellying of the front of the car. Tests here have shewn that we can make the most difference to this by pumping up the front tyres. We should be glad if you could run - for one day - with the front tyres at 50 lbs., another day at 45 lbs. and another day at 40 lbs. and get the opinion of the drivers as regards what difference they can appreciate.
