~~TO BY~~ FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to - ~~Col.~~ HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M28.10.25. INDIA STEERING. X5430 We send herewith N. scheme 2066. shewing the layout of the side steering tube, etc, with the steering with outside pendulum lever. We are not able to get more than 36° R.H. lock, but we believe this will compare favourably with existing 20HPs.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} In the top R.H. corner we shew anexperimental construction of the top steering lever which we should like tried, as we are contemplating adopting this particular construction on the New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I if found successful. It will be noticed that the top steering lever has been increased in length to 9" in any case. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
