CONTINUATION SHEET No. 2. FROM SHELL-MEX AND B.P. LIMITED. TO Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. DATE 10/1/33 we have to send a responsible official to Derby to make the mixture at short notice. This is not really satisfactory and we are wondering whether it will be possible to forecast the amounts of fuel of such nature required so that we can make arrangements for adequate quantities to be treated in our appropriate plants. In the last few weeks we have been called upon to supply you with five different fuels, viz:- 1. Ordinary D.T.D. 134 2. " " " plus 3 c.cs. T.E.L. 3. " " " plus 4 c.cs. T.E.L. X 4. Straight Persian Aviation plus 4 c.cs. T.E.L. 5. Persian Aviation plus 25% benzole plus 2 c.cs. T.E.L. As we are anxious to provide you with the best possible service it is suggested that a discussion with the writer would enable us to draw up a scheme covering the situation satisfactorily, and we shall be glad to go into the matter with you in the near future if you will be so kind as to suggest a suitable appointment. Yours faithfully, for SHELL-MEX AND B.P. LTD. L.G. Culling Manager Technical & Research Dept. | ||
