Dear Green,

Many thanks for your note.

Mr. Sidgreaves has become very interested in body costs in view of the progress we are making on the chassis side, and I understand has written to you and Ward, setting out a general programme of costs required.

I am very glad that he has done this because I feel that you need every possible assistance in your cost investigations.

We at Derby want to work with you, and give you all the help we can either with regard to drawing, technical or clerical work.

If we have this meeting at Derby next week, you will probably be able to tell me what organisation you feel to be necessary to get the somewhat extensive range of cost figures asked for by Mr. Sidgreaves.

I hope you have impressed upon the P.S.C. people that we don't expect them to do a lot of work for us for nothing.

Yours sincerely,
