Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}6/KT.14.11.33. CLUTCH SPRING DRIVE - BENTLEY & 20/25. We wish to revise the setting of the damping load on production spring drives as we find that the load tends to go up during use. The load should be 20 lbs.ft, and this is got by using damping springs to GB.995, and bronze distance pieces .645" long. New bolts are not required due to the increased length of the distance pieces.
