BENSPORT FRONT AXLE & BRAKE.

We send herewith N. schs. 3503. and 3508., drawings of the Bensport front axle and brakes.

It will be seen that these differ from Peregrine axle in that the [redacted] forging is lowered .5", and we have taken the opportunity to increase the length of the front pivot bearing.

We are going into the question of providing some means other than riveting for attaching the brake fabric to the shoes, but we have not yet arrived at a decision, and in the meanwhile have provided for carrying on as now.

It is intended that this axle shall be used on both Peregrine and Bensport.
