To Rg.{Mr Rowledge} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} PETROL. It is certain that the Shell people have been delivering to us petrol for aero engines which has not been up to the A.M. standard. We insisted on having Shell because we thought we could rely on them to supply the correct quality fuel. On the Civil Type Test we are about to start we propose to use Anglo American Fuel. From what we have learnt from Mr. Tweedie and Mr. Wood this can be relied upon to come up to the specification. Although the Shell people have now got their fuel into line, as they have let us down so badly we see no reason why we should not try out an alternative supply. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, | ||
