re Cars fitted with Wireless Installations
-------------------------------------

Thank you for your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.3/MA9.10.34.

We have noted your remarks but I am afraid that this does not help us in our trouble with the owners who are experiencing the difficulties. Their great complaint is that it is necessary to clean the sparking plugs daily, and a number of owners are now becoming extremely unpleasant because we are not in a position to do anything for them.

In extreme cases, we have even suggested the temporary removal of the suppressors from the sparking plugs, but they object strongly to this, as of course it then causes interference with the wireless reception.

As we are allowing wireless installations to be fitted to many new cars, I do feel that this is a matter which should receive urgent attention.
