EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. 86153 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/MA.11.10.34. "SPECTRECodename for Phantom III" RADIO SET. We would prefer not to give a decision re the above until the middle of next week. The reason for this is that we have just received the latest Philco 7 valve receiver with separate speaker and until we have seen the "Ekco" people again we are undecided which set to send you. We confirm that the set "chassis" will be underslung beneath the body (we presume immediately forward of the battery) and the speaker and controls mounted in the middle of the centre division. Presumably the set, if underslung, would have to be enclosed in a light sheet metal box to make it waterproof etc. Next week therefore we hope to give details of the set we shall be sending you so that there shall be no deley in preparing the body.
